About GoGermany

GoGermany is a structured German learning platform for international students and professionals who are moving to Germany and need practical, exam-ready language skills — not a streak counter.

We offer complete courses from A1 to B2, covering grammar, vocabulary, listening, writing, and Goethe and telc exam preparation — all explained in plain English with exercises grounded in real life in Germany.

Who built GoGermany

Abdullah, founder of GoGermany

GoGermany was created by Abdullah, a founder based in Munich with firsthand experience navigating German language requirements as an international professional.

The platform was built after finding that most available resources were either too gamified to be useful, too expensive to access fully, or not designed for people moving to Germany for real reasons — visas, jobs, university, citizenship, and daily life.

GoGermany is designed to fill that gap: structured, practical, and honest about what German learners at each level actually need.

What GoGermany offers

  • German A1 course — complete beginner foundation
  • German A2 course — everyday independence
  • German B1 course — Goethe and telc exam preparation
  • German B2 course — advanced professional German
  • 400+ structured exercises across all levels
  • Grammar explained in plain English
  • Vocabulary grouped by real-life situations
  • Exam preparation for Goethe and telc tests
  • Designed for life in Germany — not just passing tests

Why GoGermany

Built for movers, not hobbyists

GoGermany was designed for people who actually need German — for visas, citizenship, jobs, university, and daily life in Germany. Every lesson is grounded in real situations you will face.

Structured, not random

Lessons follow a clear A1 → A2 → B1 → B2 path. Grammar is introduced in a logical order, vocabulary builds on what you already know, and exercises reinforce each concept before moving on.

Plain English explanations

German grammar is taught in plain English with clear examples, not linguistic jargon. If you have ever felt lost in a traditional course, GoGermany is designed to fix that.

Exam-aligned content

Chapters are written with Goethe-Institut and telc exam formats in mind. You build the skills the exams test, not just memorise isolated phrases.
